In 1970, the Eddy Family moved from Ohio to Peru, IN and Tom Eddy became a partner with George H. Eikenberry in the funeral home operation.

In 1974, Lois and George Eikenberry retired and LaVonne and Tom Eddy became the sole owners of the funeral home.

Tom Jr. completed his formal education in 1990 and returned to Peru to join the family business. He is the fifth generation of our family to enter the funeral service profession.

In 1991, we merged with Laird Funeral Home in Amboy, IN with Warren and Deloris becoming not only our business colleagues but also part of our extended family.
