Mary Elizabeth Dennison,71, of Peru, born Mary Elizabeth Hutchings, on November 27, 1952, in Anderson, Indiana peacefully passed away on February 11, 2024, while surrounded by her loving family. She was the Cherished daughter of Jack and Irene Hall. Mary had a deep love for classic movies, the Hallmark Channel, and TV Land. She enjoyed spending time quilting, crocheting, and solving puzzles. Mary was also a passionate card player, she could often be found enjoying a game of euchre. However, her true expression of love was through her cooking, baking, and canning. Mary’s home was always filled with the aroma of freshly baked cookies, pies, and other homemade goodies. Her famous homemade noodles and crispy chicken were loved by her family, friends, and her children’s friends. No one could make a cheeseburger quite like Mary! Mary will be remembered by her children Anthony “Tony” Dennison, Beth (Elvin) Herschberger, and Tracy (Lisa) Miskovich; her grandchildren Chloe Herschberger, Triston Herschberger, Madeline (Maddie) Dennison, and Jesse Miskovich. Mary is also survived by her siblings Linda (John) Hess of Fairborn, Ohio, Cathy Borntreger of Huntington, Indiana and Jerry (Debbie) Hutchings of Converse, Indiana. Mary was proceeded in death by her granddaughter Miranda Miskovich, her parents Jack and Irene Hall, and her sisters Marcia Lou (Shuck) Berry and Pauline (Shuck) Eubank. She was also reunited in death with her beloved dogs who brought her so much joy throughout her life. A service celebrating the life of Mary Elizabeth Dennison will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, February 17, 2024 at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, 84 West Main St., Peru, with Pastor Randy Smoot officiating. Burial will follow at the Converse Cemetery. Family and friends will gather from 11:00 A.M. until time of service at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made through the funeral home to Miami County Helping Hands.
